After having a bad experience with one waitress some time ago, the administration showed great interest and care while listening to our concerns. They also explained about some changes and how they have been working in improving the costumers' experience since the last time we visited the restaurant. As that ... sounded so good and as we have always been a fan of ESM and, we decided to go back and try it again. They didn't disappoint us. The food, the environment and the service were great. Had the shrimp scampi and fries..After a long stressed day of travelling it was nice eat in peace at a yummy place..first timer to east side Mario's

What a complete disaster. This is the second time we have ever gone to East Side Mario's and the second time we have stormed out. The place looks half decent from a distance but the tables and chairs are dirty and greasy. We waited for 35 minutes for our food ... until we decided to leave and just pay for the starter soup and salad. After asking another waitress to get billed, our waitress clued in that she had failed to bring our food. She finally showed up with dried up plates as we were about to get up and leave, her excuse was the restaurant was busy. There were 6 tables for 4 servers, that is not busy whatsoever. We ended up paying $11 for a soup and a salad, I still consider that preposterous and borderline theft. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague, the food is horrible and the service is far worse. Read more

The ambience is warm and welcoming, the food is reasonably priced and the servers are polite and genuinely interested in their customers. Make sure you check for coupons as they have good deals often. Like for example, if you spend over $30, you may be eligible to get $10 off your ... bill! Now if you were sharing your bill, this makes it an even better deal! The unlimited soups or salads and even the bread are an amazing touch!
