Visited them on Victoria Day and they were “meh”. I ordered the main trifecta of crispy egg roll, salad rolls, and pho. The crispy egg rolls were tiny and you can tell they weren’t made in the restaurant. Mass produced from a super market and poorly fried as the interior seemed uncooked. The ... salad rolls weren’t good as the vermicelli inside was all broken up, as you dipped the roll, it would fall apart. This is a sign that the rolls were made previously and placed in the fridge. Tasted stale. The pho was laden with problems. Super salty and the meat was like it was out through a blender. Beef was overcooked and gummy. Noodles were undercooked. No basil? Bowl was super small for $18. I asked for tea and was given a cup with a tea bag and hot water in it. Never had that happen in an Asian restaurant before, quite a new experience. I won’t be back to this place and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you’ve never tried Vietnamese food before, don’t make this your first. If you’ve had it before you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Whoever is giving them 4 or 5 Stars needs their head and taste buds examined. Very pricy for substandard and poorly prepared food. I haven’t posted a poor review in a very long time, very disappointed. Read more
