Decent sized casino , a little crowded but tones of fun and variety to choose from from tables to slots to vlts its got it all , also it's restaurant is pretty good too love the daily soup.

Not worth the time, especially if you are going there to gamble. VERY low payouts, games are limited and boring. Atmosphere/decor isn't great either, with most staff just standing around and talking with each other. Probably the worst casino I've ever visited. No tourist draw here either. I only do this cause I've yet to get a response from Customer Service/Management on here or on an email I ... sent aswwell. Ignoring your customers is not a good business strategy. In February 2023 A group of ten of us entered the Great Northern Casino yesterday evening Feb 11/23 looking forward to some live entertainment and dancing since it was our friends 40th Birthday, two people in our group were denied access, the Security Guard (Connor) single handily made the decision that they were intoxicated. 1. For sure we had a couple drinks before arriving but nowhere near intoxicated, high on life because of our friend's birthday? absolutely. Also have thick Accents. 2. the two that were denied access are the most relaxed, gentlest guys you can ever meet and one being the birthday girl's husband. 3. the security guard (Connor), if he just took a minute to talk to them and really judge their "intoxication" minus there Accents and he would have seen they were not. We have been going to the Casino to enjoy the live entertainment and dancing for just about 2 decades and have never experience or encountered such unprofessional staff at the doors. I understand the job can be tough, but they need to do better. Maybe additional training is required. We were an age group of 40+ who were just looking to have some fun and dance the night away with our friend on her 40th birthday. Even though we know some of the staff in the lounge, We will reconsider going to the Casino in the future. Read more

The casino itself is fine and a good time. But the bar is a bloody joke. I don't exactly know when patrons started being charged for plain pop but when I worked in the service industry sober drivers got water or pop for free. This has happened multiple times now ... and it's ridiculous. The staff is also very rude and pushy. I honestly try my very best to get when I need from Jokers Cafe before they close as I hate doing business with the bar at all. I've also paid for mocktails and simply asked for a bit more grenadine and the bartenders act like it comes out of their paycheck. The place uses cheap OJ and cheap Pineapple juice so the only thing that drowns that taste out is the grenadine of which they put LITERALLY 2 drops of in your drink. The staff makes me feel like such a burden when I order that I honestly am uncomfortable having to go there for a drink. The place needs a whole new staff manager included. They loose more and more money from my friends and myself simply because none of us want to go up there for a drink. Read more

Good entertainment and plenty of table games from roulette, to Texas hold em, blackjack, and 3card poker and your choice of vlts even the poker room . Where they have weekly tournaments the bands that play here are great for dancing
