I've had tacos in Mexico, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Red Deer. I can confidently say these are the best tacos I've had. Homemade tortillas, salsa and guacamole. Everything's homemade! This was my first time to work in Grande Prairie and I was initially reluctant to take the job. I travel to Grande Prairie usually twice a year for work and every time I'm here I stop by El Norteno's for tacos. Not going to lie, I was hesitant because I thought how good could it be but I was blown away by the taste and authenticity of the fish ... tacos. The three taco combo is all you need as the tacos are big. The corn tortillas are homemade and taste like something you would get in on the beach in Baha Mexico. This is a must try while in GP. Amazing food and friendly staff. I had the 3 taco option and the only issue I had was I didn't have room to eat another 3. Next time I'm back in GP I'll be stopping here for sure.

It's really good, but the tacos are a bit dry and the filling easily falls out. Other than that, they're super tasty!
