Egg role and chicken balls were good... but chicken chow mean and beef with veg were ok, not great. But the ginger beef wasn't good in my opinion, flavor was not there, and it wasn't super crispy. Probably will try another place next time.

This is NOT Chinese food. Totally tasteless, zero flavour. I ordered "Szechuan" fried rice. I asked the waiter why it does not taste spicy. The reply is they don't add too much flavour because the locals don't like it. I understand they have a demographic ... to serve who probably don't know what Asian food is supposed to be like. I suggest they remove the word "Szechuan" from the dish and not mislead those of us who know better. Call it fried rice with wallpaper paste. Read more

Totally enjoyed our time at Golden Star tonight. We had Izaiah as our server and she was fantastic! Very friendly , kind and attentive to our table. She made our dining experience 5 star !!! The food was good and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

This place used to be THE place back in the day. Atmosphere feels a little cold and uncomfortable with the lighting and aesthetic. But we had a very nice waiter end the food was pretty good! They still have the fish pond which I hope they never get rid of.

Absolutely delicious even without the use of MSG and the serving was plentiful so make sure you’ve got spare rooms in your belly hey.. The waitress is very attentive and so polite. But the man in long sleeves (maybe the owner) was a little rude when asked about where the ... washroom is. But overall, we are still satisfied with what we ordered and how the service was served.
