Better Than Fred’s - Grande Prairie, Alberta

Waitress took drink order, food order, then never checked in again. Took my cup from first round on her way to the back, not asking if anyone was okay or needed a refill. Then delivered food to table in a hurry still not asking for drinks. My friends on the ... outer table were able to get drinks by stopping her but I was in the inside and as soon as they had their drink order she would dart off so I couldn’t get a drink. Which would be completely understandable if it was busy, however we came at the tail end of a rush so it was pretty well cleared out. Was kind of disappointed. Truly disappointing.. Went to Fred’s for my birthday to have some appys and drinks. Our server acted like we were an inconvenience to help. Walked away from us when we weren’t done ordering. Once we got our food she checked on us once, did not come over again even once ... drinks were empty. We had to flag her down for our bill. After we asked for our bill she continued to go to every other table and put in orders, grab empty glasses, etc. This went on for about 15 minutes, ended up asking one of the other girls if we could talk to the owner. And voiced my concerns about the service we had received. He then went over to our server and they were laughing after he had pointed at us so she knew what table. Best food in GP. Eat in or take out it’s your best bet. Everything on the menu is spot on and delicious. Check it out for a show, or just on a slow night to play some pool and grab some eats.

Good times at Better Than Fred's. Great food and the service is fantastic. Wonderful venue for big name bar bands.

The staff at Fred’s can’t be beat, the girls are beautiful, the bartenders are studs, the food makes you feel good.
