Île Pho - Gatineau, Quebec

By far the best pho and appetizers in the Ottawa and Gatineau region! Great staff, friendly and timely service and a cute intimate atmosphere!!!! Had the Thai coconut shrimp pho and crab and shrimp spring rolls.... amazzzzing ! 10 stars!!!

Myself, my wife and my daughters love coming here. We've been going since it opened and it just keeps getting better. It was a little rough at first, service took time, flavor was inconsistent and they didn't even have debit payment for a while but they have really turned this ... into a top notch restaurant that you have to experience in the Aylmer area. The menu is great, the prices are amazing, especially considering the quality you get, the service is quick and accurate. The staff always remember us and make a point of saying hi while we're there. The Pho is seriously some of the best you'll get in the region, it rivals what you'll find on Summerset. Everything is clean and well presented. I really can't say enough great things. My only complaints is that the sprouts are always a little brown and not very fresh and the tables are always missing essentials like spoons, chop sticks and saucers; we have to go table hoping to stock up. This place is amazing!! and they deliver!! They have a better selection of appetizers than any place i've been to. The chicken and spring roll vermicelli is one of my favourites, as the meat is lean and the meal is a great portion size. Pho here is great!!!

Aylmer's first Pho restaurant! The food is tasty and the service is friendly; but I did feel like my dish was missing that "secret" ingredient, I also wished that the menu offered more choices and that the hours were more consistent and flexible. Otherwise, this joint is still a decent place ... to dine-in. I'll continue to visit in the future to give this location more opportunities to improve over time. Read more

I really like the place but it's not perfect yet. The staff is friendly and helpful but the food is inconsistent. Not that it's bad, but one time the broth was amazing and the next it's watery and you can barely taste anything. The appetizers are generous and delicious. The ... main factor for me is that I don't have to fight for a parking spot like in Ottawa and it's overall good. Read more
