Authentic Moroccan food at a very affordable price! All the food in the buffet was delicious and cooked to perfection! It felt like a home cooked meal by a Moroccan khala! Variety of choices from couscous, lamb shanks, chicken with olives, kafta to paella, pasta and salads. Desserts and Moroccan ... tea are included as well. The food was so tasty! I had the buffet and really liked their soup. Everyone who ordered La carte got really hot and freshly prepared food. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Vegetarian options are also available

I just got back from Morocco (my partner is Moroccan and lives there but I am Canadian) and all of the food at Chez Fatima is so authentic. I showed him all the restaurants in Ottawa and photos of the food and asked him which one looked most Moroccan and ... he chose this one. Owner is so warm and kind and so are the servers. You can either do the buffet or the a la carte menu which is what we did. I’d recommend if you want to try everything, come after 6-630 as some items aren’t ready if you come earlier right when they open. We got there at 5:30 and tried to order pastilla but it wasn’t ready and other guests who arrived 30-40 min later were able to order it so just something to keep in mind. I went to Gatineau for a wonderful Saturday dinner. Fatima was so helpful in every way. From my call to book a table for two, to "a la prochaine"... see you next time. And I will visit again. We took advantage of the buffet that gave a great taste of a ... number of dishes. Everything was spectacular and the authentic taste of Morocco took me back to my first taste of a local dish in Rabat last year. A long-standing restaurant owned by two incredibly warm and welcoming women. I was constantly reminded to relax and feel like home and I fed exactly that.
