Really enjoy order pick up for most stores.

The cashing out is horrible. They encourage you to use the selfcheck out. But the space for rapid check is way too small. Then people wait in line they get to check out and they tell them they have to many items. Now proceed to the one and half cashier to check out. one ... cashier with all the enormous basket and one for less than eight. Where all other client s go. Beyond that most of the items on sale were sold out on Thursday at 11-12. Also none of the meat didn't look fresh everything looked old. The vegetables were few and ok same as the fruits. Located in one of the small strip malls in the Gatineau side close to 59 highway and right off Maloney. Quick access from Ottawa and highways. Not the best nor new or decorated Maxi in the area but they usually keep very good stock of sales items. Inside , it is not ... seals very well kept and quite often. The shopping carts are left outside. However, I do find staff here quite friendly and no long queues to line up at cashier so for quick purchases or essentials, a quick and convenient stop especially when they have the sales!!! I shop here occasionally. All Maxi stores are my preferred shopping markets. The staff are nice as well as the products quality. I noticed that they keep all dairy products ( yogurt, butter, milk ..) inside closed fridges which is very good. The only thing is that the checkout is somewhat ... smaller in this particular branch.
