During our recent stay at the Ramada Wyndham Gatineau, we encountered several issues that significantly detracted from our experience. Firstly, there was a persistent loud drilling noise adjacent to our room that continued for hours, severely disrupting our peace and even causing a migraine. Additionally, a mix-up with room service ... led to an unexpected intrusion when a cot was mistakenly brought into our room during while in the bathroom, despite not having ordered it. Although the amenities such as the jetted tub were enjoyable, these disruptions were disappointing and diminished our overall satisfaction. The response from customer service management, offering a minimal amount of reward points, felt insufficient given the level of inconvenience we faced. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience, as the lack of tranquility and privacy was quite unsettling. Read more

They advertise suites to get guests here then tell them those rooms they reserved are unavailable and put you in a standard 2 queen room. So if you pick this place for a suite it's fraud and misleading there never seems to be one. We got to our rooms, I ... put in my members preference top floor, they pit me on 1st floor. Construction going on above us. Hammering for hours. The rooms are run down. Furniture is old and drawers fall out when you open them. My room had one lamp. Had to ask for 3 hours to get a light for my room. Three rooms none had a bathtub plug for a hotel that promotes jetted tubs. No walk in shower you need to climb in jetted tub for a shower. No microwaves. One communal microwave is found by ice machine looks like you share with 50+ rooms on the floor. The USB plugs didn't work in either room. 3 plugs in my room didn't work. Toilets are very low. Staff knew they had no suites when I checked in they never contacted me and told me until I showed up. Was disgusted with the way staff handled all this. We stayed here the Easter long weekend. Friendly front staff, rooms were clean, pool area was clean and fresh towels every day. We stayed on the first floor and there was work going on from 8am to almost 9pm Saturday and Sunday which was a bit of a bummer when trying to ... relax in our room. That being said they were replacing the hallway lighting and the difference was immense. The AC kept clicking on, which wasn’t an issue for us but may of bothered others. We have been coming here for over 20 years, this time has been the worst ever. Rooms dirty, hotel is a mess. Our room was never cleaned, even when we spoke to housekeeping before we left for the day. Management staff talk down to you and are shady. When you ... talk to staff they say they are told to be this way or Abdul will fire them. We tried to talk to Abdul but he left so that he did not have to face us. Apparently they have just been bought by Hilton and renos are taking place. Hopefully it gets better.
