Taco Bell - Gatineau, Quebec

Unbelievable! This is my second time at this location and I will not be back. The first time, we were very rudely informed (after standing at the counter for 15 minutes) that they are not serving Taco Bell.. at 8pm on a Saturday. The second time, which what leads me to leave ... this review- is one of the worst fast food experiences I have had. - filthy filthy filthy interior, even the waiting line rails were sticky! - fountain drink station dirty, not stocked, and out of Pepsi (staff was informed twice while we were there, no one came to change the drink syrup) - staff did not seem familiar with the menu - 25 minute wait for 2 tacos, a wrap, 2 fries supreme and Cinnabon delights - no sugar on the Cinnabon delights, when we went back, they said they stopped adding the sugar because people don’t like it. - everything was absolutely covered in sour cream and very little meat. even someone who likes sour cream would have been disgusted! Fries supreme... more like sour cream surprise! The reviews for this location are not in any way exaggerated. I don’t think the owners are very invested in this location which is a shame because I love Taco Bell, but I would rather drive the extra distance to Ottawa for my fix. Overall, very poor management. Absolutely appalled, for one the customer service is always lacking there. Very unprofessional behaviour from the staff in the back. Which I always just dismissed, however this time I see no gloves whatsoever and touching multiple things, cross contamination at it's finest. As soon as a saw her pulling out ... the bag of cheese ready to stick her hand in it I immediately went up and said cancel my order, screw that fast food or not, there is still proper food handling techniques. Went here for a quick bite, which was far from what was expected. First off the staff could not even speak English, that had to pull someone from the back who could barely speak English as well. We got some burritos which were absolutely terrible, next to no meat at ... all just loads of cheese and a “side” of ground beef. The only reason I offer a 2 star rating is the KFC popcorn chicken we ordered was done fresh and the box was filled as it should be. The fountain drinks were warm, and no ice was working in the machine, and the ceiling was open due to visible leaks. Overall this is a dirty, slow, I maintained and understaffed restaurant which leads to an overall bad experience. Read more

The meat was bad, pasty, old and nasty. The sour cream was grainy. This means it was not kept at the right temperature. The fries were like two hours old. And now my stomach feels bad and turns.

Wonderful, well made. Didn't hold back on ingredients like all the others in region. Free sour cream didn't charge for extra. Even the clients are nice. Man I didn't know paid what was missing on my bill and gave me coupon to get more than what I paid for.
