Tables awfull. No service at all.

The Sportif was horrible (more to come). The virtual golf was quite good, with the latest technology. We were 4 guys in to play some indoor golf, and have a beer. What a place! The golf is way in the back, quite a ways from the ... bar. The barmaid sat there playing on her cell phone. When we went to ask to be served (yes, we had to do this), she said we had to come to the bar to be served. There was 1 person at the bar, and 1 group of 4 playing pool, and 2 people playing the video lottery terminals! The owner should have more brains, and the servers should know better - if your want to make money, provide service and sell as much as you can. So, we went to the bar and got our beer. I guess it was too much for the cell-phone playing barmaid to actually keep track of our individual consumption. When we left, it took 20 minutes to get out bills and pay. Why, because she had to ask us what we drank so she could break up the bill into individual tabs! Then, I was informed they don't take MasterCard! I guess they've screwed around MasterCard. Who doesn't take MasterCard? Overall, the indoor golf was good technology and an OK set-up (although not a lot of space), and the Sportif acted like it doesn't want the business. This bar is an embarassment to the long tradition of public drinking establishments. I've never seen such laziness and ineptitude. Stay away, play your indoor golf at any of a number of other locations - e.g., Terminus in Hull, or Golf-o-Max in Ottawa. Read more

The staff is rude and lazy... and very very slow, even if the place is empty. Their specials are more expensive than regular prices elsewhere. They got cut off from the bank for their cash machine and interact payment, they also got cut off from their TV cable provider and beer and ... alcohol distributors for not paying for the services or merchandise provided. Aylmer has nice places to enjoy a drink (old Aylmer). This is not one of them! Read more

A cavernous dark place completely devoid of character and atmosphere. It was understaffed when our group visited to play pool, and we had to wait for the same guy to assign pool tables and take drink orders. Not his fault, but management should be on top of this. Despite having about 10 ... beer taps, all they had available was Coors Light, Export and Rickards Red. Really? The people in the corner feeding money into the video lottery terminals only adds to the depressing feel of this place. The pool tables were fine, hence the two stars instead of one. Read more
