A unexpected menu looking at the restaurant from the outside. Not only was the menu creative but it was delicious and on point! Together with the friendly and professional service this was a fantastic dinner experience. Well done fellas!

This is our our go-to place - we've been eating there for years! The food is exquisite, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere easy going 😊 I like to call it fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Can't say enough about how great this place is!!! Highly recommend it!!!

My girlfriend and I just had dinner here. We were pretty hungry, so apply the appropriate modifier when evaluating the content of the review. I had the burger and my girlfriend had the trout. We switched halfway through the meal, and since you're probably hungry, I'll cut to the chase: 1. The ... vegetables that came with the trout - parsnips, beets, carrots and potatoes - were roasted to perfection. They were buttery and flavourful. 2. The hamburger was delicious. Get it medium-rare if you're tired of store-bought ground beef. The cheese and bacon were predictably tasty. Good use of toothpick to prevent fallapart. 3. The trout was good but would have been better if the skin had been crisp. 4. The slaw sidedish was exceptional - flavourful, lightly creamy with tasty purple sprouts on top. 5. For dessert, we split a creme brule. It was certainly big enough for the two of us. It was nicely spiced with rum and nutmeg for the holidays; very enjoyable. The restaurant is small and cozy; perfect for an intimate evening. The staff are friendly and willing to engage in some light banter, while being very accommodating. The food was excellent and the summer evening that we were there; you could not beat the patio setting - lovely. I am always pleased with the whole package, quality, setting, costs, etc...
