Spent a part of my Canada Day at Canada's History museum, the museum is honestly one of the best looking museums in Ottawa. The tickets were free on Canada Day, while the traffic of people was heavy, there was enough space to move around and accomodate everyone.

Canadian Museum of History is a very interesting place to visit especially if your kids are interested in history. Not busy on the week days when we were there. Plenty of Early Aboriginal Art and Cultural Carvings displayed.

Sprawling museum that tells the story of Canada’s history including many exhibits dedicated to Indigenous people. The architecture is incredible throughout. The exhibits are designed well, flow great, offer interesting information, and utilize a modern look to increase engagement. We spend 3 hours here and didn’t see it all, so ... plan for a full day if you want to spend time reading and taking it all in! Well worth a visit. Read more

Always a great experience and TONS of really interesting exhibits. If you have little ones it features the coolest children’s zone with so many interactive and educational exhibits. We’ve gone a number of times and always enjoy our visit! Friendly and helpful staff also :)

Must visit museum in Ottawa to know about Canadian History. Tickets can be brought online.The staff is the nicest and helpful.
