Banco Bistro - Gatineau, Quebec

Visited this place June 22 this year and the server did not meet my expectations. She took our order and never seen her until we had to pay. She never topped our drinks or checked in on how our food was. I ordered fish and chips and the chips were ... burnt. She never provided me any ketchup for my fries but my husband got some. I have to say the worst service I've had at a restaurant in a long time, food came out fast but was dropped off at the table then waited 10 minutes for them to come and see if it was good nothing. I had to go to the bar where ... there was 2 or 3 managers and ask if they could find my server another 5 minutes then someone showed up,needless to say I would never go back and the best part there was only 3 other tables eating at that time. So there is an update, I called to talk with a manager about my sad experience at this restaurant left a message twice with the manager and guess what they don't return calls now I see what the real problem is, if management doesn't care then why should the workers......... The food was very good, especially if you like poutine.

A very nice place, spectacular attention. They should put more effort into the fries since the cooking point and the size of the cut were not adequate.

Very delicious Nachos comes with good quality; I feel 4 person can share easily. Great presentation, I didn’t eat other items but goods very delicious and decent quantity. Most importantly excellent customer service; our serving person was Adriana; she was amazing person. Very satisfying experience.
