Chelsea Pub - Gatineau, Quebec

Best Pub in the region period. Terrific after ski spot. We had their signature white and red beers which are very good. We also had a nacho plate. I usually have the Chelsea burger which is very good. Very good atmosphere and services. Strongly recommend.

Love the Chelsea pub. Not my first time. Won't be my last time. Great for an apres ski/hike/bike etc. Cute and cozy inside. Lots of room outside if the weather is nice. Got the club sandwich and poutine. Felt like the sandwich was missing something but pretty good otherwise. Patio was a cute place to sit. Server wasn't overly friendly.

But his hospitality and nice seating areas. Food wasn’t too great or brag about but the value was adequate. Had the fish and chips. The food was good, but the service was not up to par. When we tried to order drinks and food separately, the waitress insisted that we had to order them together, which seemed odd. Then, when my friends wanted to order two pitchers, she got confused about who would be drinking ... from them. We had to explain it multiple times, and she complained that it was hard to keep track of orders from a large group. When it came time to pay, the bills were mixed up, and the prices of the pitchers weren't split correctly among the people who ordered them. The waitress didn't seem to care much and just said, "Hope it's ok." The worst part was when one of my friends asked for a receipt, and the waitress made a rude comment, saying she had never seen someone younger than 60 ask for a receipt. We were really disappointed with her attitude. On top of that, the restaurant was crowded with chairs, and the space felt cramped. It seemed like they were more focused on filling the place with customers than making sure everyone was comfortable.
