Best honest breakfast in Gatineau. This place is a local institution in Aylmer sector. It is always crowded. Recently renovated the place looks great. Service is excellent. I have a soft spot for carrer waitresses that genuinely care for their customers. Food is very good and price is also good. ... We had the bagel breakfast and the special breakfast. I only recommend a restaurant to friends after being there multiple times and having tried several items off their menu ... but this one is different. I was invited to Dinty's for a birthday breakfast, and I immediately knew what to order. How could anyone see "Poutine Egg Benedic" listed ... on a menu and not be intrigued. No surprise there, it tasted amazing ... very rich in flavors and hearty but to the right level. Their coffee was also delicious. As for the service, it was friendly. I'm told the place was recently renovated ... it looked modern, and the seatings were comfortable, and that matters in a diner where you'll sit for a couple of hours. In a nutshell, I would definitely go back to Dinty's, and order the exact same thing again. Read more

Our server Suzanne was amazing. Loved her service. The food was delicious as well! My husband loved the breakfast sausages. They have the best breakfast style poutine I’ve ever had. If you want to try a breakfast style poutine, try the Lachance Poutine Benedictine. You won’t be disappointed! The atmosphere ... is also really nice. Very clean and polite staff.
