Café Sweet Belgian Desire - Fredericton, New Brunswick

I ordered “The desire avocado” and my husband ordered “ Egg Benedict”. My food was delicious and ingredients were fresh!

I'd planned to visit this place many months previous to my arrival in Freddy. It was wonderful the dishes a were exquisite. The hot chocolate, oh my gosh! It's really affordable, and the service is really kind.

I always used to love going here until covid. My partner and I used to frequent it as it had a great selection for my diet and restrictions. It was so relaxing and inviting. Now we find it less inviting. When you arrive you must order and pay ... before being seated. It makes you feel rushed and well I also like seeing how my service is deciding how much of a tip I am leaving. The food, well I had a GF Nutella waffle, it had a strong feeling taste of egg, which just was not that enjoyable, the bacon however was perfectly cooked. This place is a local vibe restaurant but very delicious food. We tried western and florentine omelette and Banana split waffle. And their chocolate cookie is mouthwatering. Waffle were soft, fresh and delicious and quantity is good. But this restaurant isn’t for you if you want a fine dine or ... proper restaurant vibe. One of the hidden gems that hard to find. Perfect food. Very tasty. Good price. Authentic atmosphere. We enjoyed every moment. Very very recommended.
