Jungle Jims - Fredericton, New Brunswick

We are visiting Fredericton and spotted a Jungle Jim's to feed our family. We were greeted with a "We close at 8:30, you can eat but you can't hang around". It was 8:05 pm when we arrived on site. We understood the staff was irritated with our presence in ... their short, curt dialog with us. We also understand that they were eager to end their shift and go home. We had travelled for hours and we were tired and famished, so we were excited when we first arrived at the restaurant only to be greeted so insensitively. We were seated, our orders were taken and the food arrived quickly. The food was hot and delicious. We tipped well due to this but would have tipped exceptionally well if we had received more hospitality and not treated as an inconvenience. I hope that future traveller's/ tourists will be treated with graciousness when they show up tired and hungry. Read more

We were at jungle Jim’s Smythe Street Fredericton. NB. Luke was our server. We were so pleased with his mannerism. Got an envelope recently with a surprise Jungle Jim's bonus, so of course we went to dine in. Our envelope won us free crocodile skins and gosh were there a lot of tasty potato skins. Ordered taco platters, crispy cod and Thai chicken. Delicious well stuffed tacos, and a huge ... amount of fries. We were too full of food by the end for dessert, but maybe the next time we swing on into Jim's. Read more

Great restaurant to go if you got kids since they got the fish tanks and space for them. They only get 3 stars because the dirty washrooms although they only had 3 customers to attend. The food was fantastic! Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here! I think everything is way better than the one in Halifax... -1 star for the slow service. The server was super nice tho, but at the end she forgot our table lol however I still love this restaurant! Def ... will go back again soon and maybe will change the review to 5 stars in the future.
