this is our second time visiting and the fish here is super fresh. Our go-to is the small sushi+roll party tray and it never disappoints! Friendly staff and great food!!
March 2024 Update: Decided to get one of the sets this time and it was average – nothing to write home about. I wasn't a huge fan of the garden salad as well, surprisingly. Substitution of rolls is only allowed for similar cost rolls (even if you're willing to pay the ... full price differential of $2 or $3). Original Review, December 2023: Dined in and ordered the calamari and black dragon roll, which were both good! There was only one staff member managing both the dine in tables and take out, so service could have been better. The food came out quite quickly though (there was only one other dine in table but a few takeout orders) Overall, everything was good and I'd definitely come back again! I moved to this area a couple of months ago and never expected to find such a fantastic Japanese restaurant. Everything is very tasty, fresh good fish, the service is always friendly. I recommend this place to my friends and neighbors. Thank you, my dear friends!
Came here with my friends for lunch, not very noisy (we were the source of noise if anything LOL), and was very chill. I got the Philadelphia roll because I’ve never had cream cheese sushi before. It came with smoked salmon and I think it was a very good combination! I also ... got the spicy salmon sushi and the takoyaki to go along with it. There was wasabi on the takoyaki! I was surprised. I’m not a big fan of wasabi so I took some off of it, but the takoyaki it’s self was very good :) My friends got sashimis and sushi’s as well. The server was nice, patient and thank you staff for letting us stay there for hours talking. I like the booth seats, it gives you privacy to conversation compared to a lot of other sushi places.
