LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS! TRY THOSE FRIES! We mainly went to this area to get some cookies but stumbled upon a treasure instead. There were a lot of good sounding things on their menu, so we thought to check Google Reviews to help us decide. That Oxtail Fries is a ... must buy and at least meant to be tried once. I dont want to be redundant to other reviews, so all I can say is get some. I also enjoyed their Bun Bo Hue. It is not as spicy as one would think compared to the picture. I didn't dine in but my short interaction with the staff at XO Bistro made me wish I had!! Cindy was super kind and sociable. I ordered the Vermicelli bowl with pork and spring roll. So good! Such a pretty modern restaurant! The service was really really good. Attentive, helpful, polite. The good was tasty and quick to arrive. I tried a couple cocktails and they were beautiful and delicious. This is a great spot and highly suggest it.

XO Bistro Downtown is an amazing fusion Vietnamese experience. All of their dishes are very creatively done and extremely tasty. You'll recognize many of the favorites you traditionally get at Vietnamese restaurants including the soups and rice/vermicelli dishes. Except they add that extra flair and the dishes are fresh ... and inventive. The space is very gorgeous with a stunning bar and their trademark giant pink tree overhanging the space. First and foremost Cindy was a delight. She was kind, prompt and personable. A great couple of recommendations too! I had the pork spring rolls which were very good. Crunky and delicious. I also had Asahi on draft which is an underrated beer on tap so crisp and refreshing with no bitterness ... at all. The hallmark for me was a Cindy recommendation, the Pho Beef dip. You know exactly what the tastes like in your head, but you just aren't ready for it too be THAT good. You get a stellar helping of delicious sliced beer on a soft bun but the Ox tail pho dip is just so gosh darn good. Holy smokes!! This was such a a win.
