Love eating here. Grilled chicken vermicelli is Delicious! And shrimp rolls with peanut sauce are divine! The food has always been fresh and tasty. Their green onion cakes are delicious as well. This time I actually got some pictures before digging in! The dishes are also a little on ... the big side could easily share - but I never do!!! Each shrimp are about the size of my index and as you can see plenty of chicken! Read more
We've been customers since moving to the Forest Heights neighbourhood 6 years ago. The restaurant is only 3 blocks from our house, making it a very convenient choice. We have done frequent pickup orders, and always been impressed by how quickly the orders are ready. We have never once arrived ... at the restaurant and had to wait to pick up our order. While the food does not stand out as being wildly above average, it rarely disappoints me and is always satisfying and tasty. My favourite dishes are the Singapore noodles and the Lemongrass Chicken stir fry. I also really like their sweet & sour pork, the sauce is a little less sweet and a little more sour than others I've tried and it's very delicious. I have always appreciated the freshness and crispness of the vegetables included in the dishes. I'm pleased that they recently added delivery and online ordering to their service. We will continue to come back again and again. Read more
What’s Vietnamese for MEH?? Well, first of all the people stating that this is the “best” Vietnamese in the city blah blah have obviously never eaten anywhere else. If you want the BEST in the city visit Doan’s....either downtown or south side, you won’t regret it. NOW for this ... place, I have to say the prices are ridiculous, there’s a shrimp dish that if you add “double” meat it’s 9.00 extra, really?? So my meal came with 3 shrimp, are you telling me it’s 9 dollars for 3 more? I ordered a number 55, chicken, spring roll and shrimp on vermicelli.....well it was mediocre at best, and horribly pricy for the amount you get. It came in basically a soup bowl, I thought to myself, you’ve got to be kidding?? The meat was supposed to be cooked in lemongrass....couldn’t taste it at all, the prawns were dry, “wooden” and obviously way over cooked. The fish sauce was obviously diluted to save a few dollars, because it also basically had no taste. I ordered a pop, and the whole thing cost me a few cents short of 20.00. ARE YOU SERIOUS? 20 bucks for basically shopping mall food court food? Wait a minute, I’ve actually had food court Vietnamese that was tastier than this meal. Like I stated before do yourself a favour and head to Doan’s if you want to see what Vietnamese should taste like, in fact I suggest the owners and cooks of “Pho & Bun” do the same, maybe they can pick up a few pointers. Definitely NOT worth a second visit EVER. Read more

We moved to Forest Heights a couple months ago and finally got around to trying Pho & Bun. We’re sorry we waited so long! Picked up 2 bowls of Pho (Beef Satay, Chicken Satay) and an order of pork spring rolls. Prices are very reasonable, but more importantly, the food ... was fantastic: Tasty, hot and fresh. We’ve tried Pho at various places around the city but this has to be among our favs. We recommend and will definitely be going back. Read more
