A friendly place that serves a wide variety of food for every taste. I had the salmon.. incredible accompanying sauce.. never tasted anything like this with salmon, too small of a serving for my liking. Normally when I go to an Earls/Joey’s/Cactus Club, I’m underwhelmed by the food quality and taste. And normally the service just ok or borderline dismissive. The glory years of this once venerable chain seem long forgotten. This Cactus Club location is and has always been a flagship for the chain. The ... service is consistently friendly and professional. The food is perfectly cooked and appealing to the eye. I wish the other locations around Edmonton could take a few lessons from this polished gem in an otherwise average chain of restaurants that have lost some luster the past few years. Read more

Great place to come for business meetings, family celebrations, or any special occasion. Food is great, service magnificent, atmosphere mesmerizing. They recently redid the patio, great job.

Sellin, our server was absolutely exceptional. I have NEVER in my life had such amazing service before. She brought such great energy to our visit and was the most humble human being. I, myself am a senior server and have worked at a few different restaurants. I have not ever ... seen a server bring this type of energy to a table before. The greeting was captivating as she had overheard a conversation when we had initially got there that I was chilly on the patio as it was later in the evening. She, herself grabbed us from our patio table and sat us in her section. Our service started with conversation about the nature of our visit to the restaurant and from there, she was very personal and had a captivating vibe. She gave us meal recommendations which I really appreciated having never been to Cactus Club before. She was able to describe her recommended dishes SO well and said she worked along side the kitchen for a while which is awesome because she REALLY knows the menu. We will absolutely be returning next time we come to Edmonton and will reserve a table with Sellin every time as long as she works here. Read more

Went here for my child's 1st birthday and it was a great experience. The food was delicious as always at Cactus Club, and our server was exceptional. It's too bad I didn't get her name, but she really deserves credit for great service. I go out a lot and find ... that a lot of servers these days expect a good tip no matter what level of service they provide, so it's really refreshing to get a server that actually put in effort and really took care of our needs. She was very friendly, mature, professional, and best of all, she knew how to communicate with my 6 year old. He is very sensitive and can get triggered easily, but the server knew exactly how to handle the situation and joked with him the whole time and thankfully, he was smiling and happy the whole time which ensured the birthday dinner went smoothly. And without my even asking, the server brought a free cheesecake slice for my child's bday and it was beautifully decorated. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic experience.
