I really can't say enough good things about having my birthday dinner here. We were welcomed in, seated with no waiting, and within minutes of us sitting down our server introduced himself to us. Drinks were fast and we had an allergy concern, it was noted and I believe ... the manager came to the table to confirm there would be no cross contamination. Steak was beautifully done to exactly how we wanted it, vegetables and potatoes perfect. We were checked on, made to feel so at home. Nice atmosphere, a little loud last night, though. Escargot were smaller than anticipated. The starter salad was delicious with the in-house dressing. Peppercorn sauce for the steak was heavy on the pepper and took away from the taste of the meat. Baked potato was enormous and perfect inside, although the ... skin was a bit tough. Overall, it was a pretty fantastic experience, and our server in the lounge did a brilliant job. Will definitely be back, but I will not include the peppercorn sauce for my steak. My husband wanted prime rib for his birthday so The Keg it was. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food and drinks were great although the prime rib was not as great as we remembered. Granted, we only go to The Keg maybe once a ... year.
