Wanted to come check this place out and was told that it's $9 cover if you don't have guest list. It was before 10pm more or a club vibe than a casual drink. The door staff was pretty rude!! EDIT: Thank you for your response. This does not change my experience but I ... will consider revisiting your fine establishment at some point in the near future. If your guestlist has certain stipulations, then I would make those more clear and transparent in the future so other guests don't share the same issues that I had. I had the pleasure of visiting The Bower this past weekend for a friends 40th birthday party and I must say it was phenomenal to see this place so busy and well attended. As a non drinker the bartenders and staff were super considerate to my needs and made ... me feel welcome the whole night. The room is very well manicured and has a very intimate vibe. We showed up late in the evening, the place was packed with a $9 cover, DJ, and dance floor. Not quite what I expected from the photos and reviews I had read but the decor was great and the bartender whipped me up a Solidly good Tom Collins. Loved the vibe, music all of it! First time there but reminds me a little bit of some Toronto spots! Definitely plan on going again real soon.

Booked reservations via email, response was super prompt. Arrived and found free parking nearby. We were seated quickly at a small table for two. Good starting position. We ordered cocktails, an old fashioned and chameleon rum drink, they were perfect. So we also ordered the olives and tomato crostini, a ... perfect lil snack, and the basil was fresh. Our hostess was absolutely fantastic and got us a booth which was facing the dance floor. Where the DJ was spinning it up with a wide array of music. So we could hit the dance floor at any moment, then settle back in for a refreshment. The bartender was on point and by about 2330 the place was packing up. The atmosphere is unreal, the various seating areas are one of the best parts about it. I will go back on a single date, or a group of friends. The price matches what you get out of the experience. Worth every penn... nickel. It's only open a couple nights a week. And that works for me. So make an excuse and go if you haven't, and let me know how the grilled cheese is.. Cheers Read more
