Big Daddy’s Sandwich Co. - Edmonton, Alberta

I ordered the donair and made it a big daddy sized up, with kettle chips and a pop. The donair seemed small in size and was kind of just average tasting, it was also wrapped very poorly (I know their pride and joy is not making donairs, I shouldn't have ... gone to a sandwich shop for a donair). There was only enough dip for maybe half of the chips, which surprised me that they weren't at least warm. The only saving grace was the workers who gave good customer service and the vegetables were fresh. Hopefully the sandwiches are better. Read more

Amazing food, fresh & healthy! The staff is so friendly and always have a beautiful smile. Loved it

It was a long wait for some. They did get a large skip dishes order. I was here at noon and wanted the clam chowder but it wasn’t ready yet as it was cold. So beef barley it was and it was good. I asked for onions ... on my pizza sub which didn’t make it. I am a huge sandwich guy and want to come back and try again. From what I saw from the food it did look good and was ok. If I had to do a say rating it’s a 6 out of 10. But I do think they have some other great options and they were trying to keep up. So I will come back and see how it goes a 2nd time. They did have a steady stream of people walking in. So it was a good sign. And round 2 of coming back. I had the BLT with cheese today. And it was great. Tomatoes were fresh and crisp. Tonnes of Bacon on this thing and I was not disappointed. The front staff was great and friendly and I was checked on 2x’s. I was there at 10:45 and it was very quick to get my food. $16.00 for a sandwich and a Pepsi. The Pepsi was chilled very well and not cold at all. Delicious sandwiches, big portions, fresh ingredients , and friendly fast service. Definitely a winning combination. Give this place a try.

Shake your honeymaker sandwich was really tasty! I was hoping for a bit more meat but it was filling enough. The added coleslaw is a game changer though, compliments the sandwich with some added texture but maybe a little too wet. Soup was also very tasty but it was stone cold ... so I had to microwave it which is pretty disappointing as it leads me to believe it was sitting in the fridge prior to serving. I would come back again to try out their other sandwiches. Read more
