I would say the pizza could be a whole lot better. I say the thin crispy crust on the pizza was a bit drier than i would expect but if this is their style then thats alright. It has been a number of years since I've eaten at Coliseum Steak and Pizza, and the consistency has never let me down. Don't get discouraged when you drive up, nd the parking lot looks full. The restaurant accommodates a lot of people. Both me and my dinner guest had ... the steak special. It was accompanied with French onion soup. Followed by desert home made apple pie and cheese cake. The stesk was cooked to perfection and was a very tender cut of meat. I have never been let down when I have eaten here over the years for the food, service and the friendly hospitality given here. I ordered the top sirloin steak and my wife ordered the ribs with shrimp. The steak was really good and perfectly medium-rare, but slightly more salty than I would like. The thick cut fries were delicious especially paired with the generous serving of gravy. My wife couldn't ... finish the ribs so I tried one and found that they are on the dry side. I think more BBQ sauce would have helped. Service was great! I would suggest making a reservation because the restaurant was very busy. Parking can be a bit difficult as the lot is on the small side. Food was good for the portion sizes that you get! Loved that we had the option of choosing a soup or salad for our appetizer and the meal also includes a side.
