Great place been a customer for many years. Once bought the biggest pizza they have. Everyone loved it!

i work in the area so getting a single slice of pizza places is pretty common for me. they have the best. the crust is thick and soft. the toppings taste lovely. it’s a good price for a single slice for the quality you get.

In the 90's and early 2000's I used to order Chicago Deep Dish a lot. I could have wallpapered a room with their receipts. A small pizza could feed 3-4 hungry guys. I was back in Edmonton for a wedding this weekend and wanted to order again ... for old times stake. I read a bunch of reviews and was pretty worried. Although there were still reviews that reminded me of the old days, there were a lot saying that things had changed for the worse - the pizza was all dough, with little toppings. Well, I got back to the hotel after the wedding and was hungry. I ordered a small Super Hot with triple extra cheese and triple ground beef, thinking that if toppings were being skimped on, and I might get a little extra (btw way, extra toppings were only $2.00 each, so I paid $6.00 for extra cheese and $6.00 for extra beef - I don't mind paying for extra toppings, if I actually get them) 45 minutes later the driver arrived and handed me a very heavy small pizza. It was as good, if not better, than the CDD I remember. There was so much cheese and beef that it was almost too much (almost). I was transported back 25 years and enjoyed trying to finish three pieces. The rest is coming back with me to Nanaimo. The crust was so perfectly crispy and tall. Real bacon! Real ground beef. No pre-formed meats from a bag. I'm not sure why there are so many low-rated reviews - maybe the quality is inconsistent depending on who makes the pizza? But as a hard-core CDD junkie from a quarter century ago, what I got this weekend was classic and perfect Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. Read more

Read the bad reviews while waiting for pizza delivery that I called them directly to order. Got nervous. Shouldn’t have. They were polite, and honest about the one hour wait time. Easy to order. Pizza arrived and it was perfect amount of dough and toppings. Steaming ... hot! Everything tasted fresh and I ordered late. Deep dish pizza is deeper, so it holds more toppings and the dough is a a bit thicker. By nature. It also takes a bit longer to cook through. I found this location was good to me considering the price. Worth it. (PRO TIP: if you can’t decide what to get, I recommend “The Galaxy Pizza.” …It literally has everything.) Read more
