The staff was pretty nice, with a reservation we were still waiting a little while before we could sit down. There were no dirty tables though, I think they were just understaffed that day. The food is good, but it could be a bit yummier for the price point. The ... views are very nice and the tower spins very slowly, but the staff really needs to dust the side area for people sitting ride beside the window because it’s kind of gross to see that while you’re moving around. We were so impressed with the Sunday brunch on June 9th, 2024. Service by Spence was excellent. He was attentive. knowledgeable and very friendly. As well, the new omelette station chef provided impressive service and interesting conversation. The omelette station is our favourite but the other choices such as ... salmon, turkey, shrimp and chickpea salad were outstanding. The bread pudding was light and flavourful with just the right touch of creamy sauce. This is the finest buffet in Edmonton with the highest quality offerings and impeccable service from all staff members. The incredible river valley views enhance every visit. La Ronde will continue to be our first choice of destination for fine dining in Edmonton. Read more

We had an incredible time here last night. We were lucky enough to be served by Dean, who clearly has a true passion for people. I have never been treated so well at a restaurant, and it's because of this man that I will be returning. Incredible views, incredible ... food, and incredible service. My only note for management would be to hire a hostess who enjoys being around people. Her greeting was cold, we had to walk up and ask for our coats to be taken, and she never once smiled at us. It was to the point where I asked specifically for her not to be tipped out, as I did not think she earned any sort of tip. We went to the La Ronde celebrating a birthday and were pleasantly surprised by their exceptional service and extraordinary food quality. Our server, Dean, was professional, friendly, humorous, quick witted and courteous. I ordered steak Diane which was tender and juicy. The sauce was absolutely delicious and delectable. There aren't ... too many French restaurants who are willing to present this dish in the traditional way and that is to bring to you on a cart, pour the cognac and flame it right in front of you! As well, there aren't too many executive chefs who would be willing to entertain special requests and bring them to your table. We witnessed Sonny brought a fancy looking Beef Wellington to our next table. This dish was not on the regular menu. Sonny came over and chatted with us about his culinary experiences around the world. All in all, glad we chose La Ronde tonight and we feel both Dean and Sonny are assets to the La Ronde restaurant. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here on May 8th. Our waiter, Dean, was fabulous. He knew the menu incredibly well, providing extra information about the entrees and his suggestions. He was very friendly, attentive, and was super personable during our conversations. He also gave us an adorable little ... fruit plate for dessert to celebrate our anniversary! I have never had such amazing service! The drink prices were great in my opinion, much cheaper than other high end dining options. The lamb and rib eye were delicious, my lamb fell off the bone and was one of the best meals I have ever had. Getting to see the entire city in the hour + that we were there was also an amazing experience. I cannot say enough great things about our meal!
