I went to ElCortez in a group of 4 without a prior reservation so we had to wait for half an hour cause it was a Tuesday. On Tuesday they a $2 tacos that’s why it took us 30 minutes to be seated which makes sense(come with reservation only😂). Luckily the day ... was soo good, chill & windy that we were able to get full cold breeze from outside (so if you generally feel cold and its a windy day get a jacket with you). We ordered Pisco rose & Paloma cocktails (they were decent for the price, not too great not too bad) but i liked Paloma more. And then we tried variety of $2 tacos (again they were good $2) following are the ones that we tried- 1. Al pastor 2. Chicken tinga (best taste) 3. Avocado bean + cheese 4. Grilled Citrus shrimp 5. Mushroom + potato 6. Tempura fish 7. Ground sirolin + potato 8. Beef biria Servicing was a lil slow because of how busy it gets on TacoTuesday. I arrived around 3pm for $2 Taco Tuesdays. Tacos were indeed $2 each, and I was informed that ordering a drink was required. I chose an 8oz cassette Lager for $3.75, which seemed like a good choice. Came for $3 Thursdays. Tacos were great and came out fast. Minimum two tacos per order so essentially $6 Thursdays. They were delicious and filling. Great drink selections and beers. Highly recommend.

very nice staff and delicious food! was not busy at all at noon. very spacious and clean. the churros are soo good and chewy! the fried fish taco and the chef tacos were very yummy. portions are on the smaller side.
