Ordered from the Filipino all day breakfast, it was a platter since my wife and I had only ever eaten a donair there before I wanted to get an idea of some of the flavours. I must say it was simply Wow. Great taste to every bite, in everything! From ... the meat to the rice to the rolls and the halo halo was a great topper! Will definitely be back again to sample more. As a first time customer, ordered a pizza for pick up. Super friendly, nice little home style restaurant. Got it home in a flash, Huge pizza, hot looked delicious, but very disappointing to eat. As a veteran pizza maker, this had the looks but not the taste. The dough was ... really thick, and just seemed off, either old dough or just a super plain yellowy/grey fluffy dough. Nothing special. The ham was not a quality ham, very cheap like eating the slice deli cooked ham. Sauce was good, had lots of cheese, and the veggies are; you know; veggies. This pizza was beyond terrible. It was supposed to be bacon peperoni but it literally didn't taste like either. Had a weird gravy taste to it. Like old gravy or lard. The bacon was a grey colour for some reason. The thought of the taste makes me want to throw ... up. It's that bad. Run away. Don't skip the dishes skip the meal. Read more
Pizza order was phoned in & picked up by a relative as my reward for helping clean & move apartments last year. BEST deep-dish pizza EVER...and I love pizza. Not expensive either. Will help clean up and pack again if this delicious reward is offered again....the place ... was just recently opened when I had their pizza...more people need to know about this wonderful place. Had a delicious beef donair that was huge. Staff was friendly and the menu had a lot of options. Will be back to try a Filipino breakfast for sure and will report back. Atmosphere was nice for a quick bite to eat.
