It looks like this Teriyaki Corner is under new ownership. Service was quick and food quality is better than it was. I ordered the delux bento box and it filled me up. Rolls tasted fresh, tempura was crispy, and the rice was not overly salty. Its a good place for a ... casual lunch / dinner. The swings are also still there which make waiting for your food more fun. Best sushi in the city. I've never once experience bad customer service from staff. The food is almost always perfect. They actually do the sushi rice correctly. There's a running joke in our house that they must put crack in the rice and we keep coming back because we're addicted. ... It is literally that good. Read more
Teriyaki Corner should be Called "CUCUMBER CORNER": I spend over $24 on 2 rolls of sushi (Dynamite Roll and The Unagi Roll). When I saw my rolls, almost all of inside was CUCUMBER??? What the heck. They rolls looked like supermarket rolls. Worst, they were tasteless, with no meat whatsoever ... inside (see pictures). Go to ICHIBAN, over in 149st and 87ave, they have much much better food for the same price. Sorry Teriyaki Corner, I wont be ordering from you again. Read more
Very tasty food that came out very quickly. I decided to try this place for dinner recently and was pleasantly impressed. The portions are generous and the prices are very fair. The atmosphere inside is pretty cool, with the swinging chairs being fun to sit on and relax. The staff were also ... very courteous and nice and explained the menu choices very well. I'll definitely be back to this place. One thing that stood out for me was the beef teriyaki with the fried rice. Very delicious dish. Read more
