I go to the Kingsway one- the older woman is so pleasant and nice. I typically only go when she’s there. One the best sushi places in Edmonton I believe. It's in a food court, but besides that is very good. Quality ingredients and some good non traditional ideas like the tuna tetaki. Poor guy was working alone and told me it would be a 25 minute wait for one sushi burrito. When I got it, took a bite and there was a freaking HUGE, long black hair embedded in my salmon and rice. I have blond hair so I knew it wasn't ... mine. I almost threw up. I took it back to the guy and noticed he did not have a hair net on. I pointed it out and he said he couldn't find them as he slicked his greasy hair back with his bare hands. I haven't been able to eat my fav food sushi for weeks after the incident. We enjoy eating lots of types of Sushi, and this is the place to be. Never tried any prepackaged meals here, so I always had food made fresh to order, because I believe that is the only way to eat sushi. The Tuna the salmon is perfect. The Poke is ... awesome too. I recommend trying anything. I just hope you understand what you are ordering, because it is important to know what your going to be served so your not in shock if you receive a deep fried soft shell crab or raw fish of sorts if you didn't expect it.
