Zero stars. Avoid. Ordered delivery. Total food spend over $125. Ordered rolls, nagiri, and sashimi. Everything looked like it had been prepared and garnished the day before. Fish was off-coloured and old. Roll was garnished with dried-out green onion. Rice was chewy and dense. Worst sushi meal I have had in YEG.
Please AVOID this store if you can!!! The customer service here is ZERO!!! At the very beginning we couldn’t get any water or the menu until we asked for those, even there were several staffs had eye contact with us, and they just ignored then walk away. Also the food variety ... is really limited, you could get basically all their sushi and BBQ in any other cheaper stores, even as some convenience stores. I don’t understand why they don’t change the plate for the BBQ even it was burnt black on the steel plate. The answers for that by their staff is ‘It’s okay not to change the plate’ with no further explanations. Finally near the end of the dinner, we asked for the final round, they just LOST the order paper, which is unbelievable. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT GO HERE. You will regret for that $40. Read more
It was my first time and I loved it, the atmosphere was beautiful, food quality is amazing, service was kind and helpful, although the place was busy at dinner time, they did an amazing job. I tried all you can eat, everything was delicious, my favorites were tempura and masago. ... Warm sake at the beginning was perfect and delightful. I’ll definitely come back and make a reservation for the small rooms they have. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Read more
I recently revisited Tanuki Kyoto that had recently changed to an all-you-can-eat menu, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The restaurant managed to maintain its exceptional menu quality, all while providing its patrons with a fantastic all-you-can-eat menu option. After taking a few minutes to peruse ... the menu, I decided to go with the all-you-can-eat option, which proved to be an excellent decision. The menu offered a vast array of sushi and sashimi, along with several hot dishes, including tempura and some grilled items. The quality of the sushi was exceptional, with each piece being incredibly fresh and delicious. The hot dishes were equally fantastic, with the tempura being perfectly crispy and the short ribs being juicy and flavorful. if you're a fan of sushi or Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The all-you-can-eat menu is an excellent option for those looking for a fantastic dining experience without breaking the bank. With its exceptional food quality, excellent service, and reasonable prices, this restaurant is an absolute gem that should not be missed. Read more
