Literally delicious. The waitress Jenn was fantastic. The food was so good, we would have come back the next day. Awesome experience and definitely a new favorite!

First time eating at the Vaticano Cuciana, fairly empty and quiet on a Tuesday night. It does not look like so much on the outside, but the atmosphere is clean and enjoyable inside. Our server was polite, sweet, and knowledgeable. Her timing was impecable. We ordered the Aranchini , ... then blacken salmon and the lamb and mash (feature). Cooked to perfection, you do have to love olives to order that specific salmon. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back. Read more

My daughter was craving carbonara so we went to Vaticano based on some promising reviews. Lunch time on Saturday was very quiet. Restaurant was unassuming and questionable on the outside. Luckily, we are not snobs and felt adventurous. Inside was warm and cozy, very welcoming. We ordered the calamari, spaghetti ... vaticano, seafood pescatore, and Joe’s bucatini carbonara. The food was pretty good. Calamari was perfectly light and crispy and the carbonara was worth the visit. The pescatore was nice but nothing special. The spaghetti was a bit disappointing as it was described as “spicy” but I’m thinking the chef didn’t get the memo. It was all pleasant, low key, and a bit on the pricey side but that seems to be the new normal. Read more

$30 for a uncooked pizza that’s not edible. When we called the restaurant they said it was supposed to be this way. Am an Italian celiac and have never experienced a pizza like this. Definitely would not recommend. Also was told the most they’d do is let the manager know.

Visited edmonton for my birthday and chose this place along our route for my bday lunch on may 9th. Absolutely the best decision!! The aranchini was to die for, my lasagna was delicious and so big I had leftovers for a road trip snack. The garlic foccacia bread was perfectly ... crispy. My boyfriend got the seafood pasta, which was also super delicious. Our waitress was incredibly friendly. We were the only ones in the restaurant ( we were that at 2pm) and chose to sit outside as it was one of our first beautiful days. She was super helpful with the menu and then made me aware of a few things I wanted to visit in town to make my day more special ! :) thank you vaticano for a great birthday lunch/supper!
