Just had the absolutely most delicious meal here. The food on the weekly menu was scrumptious. I had the halibut with risotto and my hubby had the 10oz Ribeye with sautéed veggies. So amazing. The service from Vasilisa was great, too. We’ll be back.

Was referred to this place by an acquaintance that dines here regularly. Ordered the: Mussels in white wine sauce 5* one of the tastiest mussels I’ve tried. Lobster/pasta special $44 4.5* hubby was please with this dish Pescatore pasta with spicy rose sauce 4.5* comes with choice of spicy tomato or white wine sauce. Felt like ... having something spicy so asked for rose sauce as I’m not a huge fan of pure tomato sauces. Was good All 3 dishes were a tad too salty but still really good! Who knows maybe my family is use to less salt, although never usually an issue when we go out. So this gets me to conclude that maybe the chef was a tad heavy handed with the salt. Rafat gifted us a housemade tiramisu. It delish. I would have preferred it without the chocolate sauce as I found it a bit too much. Ordered cappuccino and a latte to have with dessert. On May 14, my husband & I went to Sorrentino’s West for a belated Mother's Day dinner. We chose that day because of their "Pasta Tuesday" tradition, which is truly value for money. We ordered our usual - linguini pescatore for my husband and spaghetti alla carbonara for me - ... and we enjoyed every bite. We also had the Sorrentino salad which was delicious. There was so much food, that we took half home for a second meal a couple of days later. Our favourite server, Rafat, looked after us with his usual efficient friendliness and care, with special attention to my various food sensitivities. We ended our meal with a complimentary tiramisu which we shared and which was gratis because we were celebrating a special occasion. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. A friend told us, if you go to Edmonton you will enjoy the Italian food there. As Italians, this restaurant did not disappoint us.
