I've eaten here twice, once after I first moved into the neighborhood, and a couple weeks later. I tried to like the pizza here but it really wasn't great. The first time I ate there I didn't like the sauce, there wasn't really much flavor, and the pizza was to ... greasy for me. The second time I ordered their pizza and brought it home the dough had a strange taste and felt like it solidified in my stomach. They never got me sick though. I'm new to the area and my neighbour recommended Hollywood. I've been going here since September and I love it. The pizzas are delicious with their sweetish tomato sauce. Our family LOVES Hollywood Pizza. The pizza is so great, lots of toppings and the perfect amount of cheese. I personally love their lasagna. They properly drain their noodles, lots of meat sauce and baked with a nice layer of cheese. Their Hollywood Sub is that absolute jam. Meaty, saucy, baked ... happiness. You won't find a lot of flash and gimmicks BUT you will find the best pizza I've ever had, made by staff that seriously care and seriously know what they are doing. My order is almost always ready in "20 minutes please" and served up with a smile. The sauce ... is to die for, the crust not too thick and the toppings fresh and high quality. I order 3 mediums for p/u (around $25), they feed me and my 3 kids with leftovers for their lunches the next day. We've easily had a couple hundred of their pizzas and never had a disappointing one, not once, ever. They even came in early to make 30 pizzas for me for a work lunch and they were all up to par. Every other dish I've tried has always been up to the same high quality and excellent flavor. Overall a humble place with fantastic food, staffed by people who really care about their food and their customers. We've been having it for over 10 years and the kids faces still light up when I say "lets have Hollywood tonight" AND the will ditch the XBox to come pick it up with me and to say "hi" to the staff.
