Allegro has a cozy spot in Crestwood amongst some very hip shops in the strip mall of this affluent area. I was a patron of Allegro for many years and was excited to experience the west end location. Our service was superb. Our waiter was helpful and humerous. ... He was extremely attentive. The space is wonderful. It's got a lot of character and has many works of art adorning the walls. The food is great. All of the typical favorites that have stood the test of time from the old days. The establishment was extremely busy which is a good sign. Great little Italian restaurant with traditional food. The seafood, salmon and chicken breast pasta dishes were all delicious. Portions for the main dishes were also large, which is perfect for the price. Definitely recommend it!

staff: very warm and friendly. We forgot our left overs and had to back track to get it. Small restaurant that packed lots of good flavor, great appetizers, pastas, entres and dessert. Ordered the pescatore and it was delicious however the mussels were a bit sandy. Service was excellent. Relatively tight seating and full service, reservation recommended.
