Reviews for Masalaz Restaurant in Edmonton, Alberta
Average food & good staffs. They'll Make your food according to your likes but taste may vary some or the other way. But for first hand cravings, this spot will do the job.
1. Chicken curry was tasteless. 2. The chicken biryani portion was little. 3. Beef roast was tasteless. 4. Poratta was frozen, not feshly made. 5. Pothichoru was not good. 6. Fish curry wasn't good 7. Pothichoru quantity was more towards rice than curries. Overall waste of money that we ordered.

So I got take out Byriani. This is a South indian restaurant. The lady was super nice. I am also south Asian and think the Byriani is very good. Big pieces of chicken, the rice is cooked well and the paste in the Byriani was perfect. I am trying not ... to eat all of it at once. The price is also very good at around 13.50. I wish I had gotten a second one as I dont live nearby. I think people should try this unassuming restaurant. It's not fancy but the Byriani hit the spot. I suggest people try this restaurant for south indian food and recommend one try it. Read more
Food is extroadinary especially the kerala style paneer buriyani, egg roast, egg fried rice, dry beans , ulli vadai, filter coffee made by chef Remya :) I tried some of their snacks too, they are all good. There are more items I am yet to try and all ... for very reasonable price. I wont complain about the atmosphere as that's not my criteria when looking for reasonably priced and delicious healthy food, especially with lots of vegetarian options. Will recommend this place to anyone and I will visit more often in the future now that I found this place. Read more
