The Nut Shoppe - Edmonton, Alberta

This is the BEST movie theater style popcorn my family and I have ever experienced. This popcorn is LEGENDARY. We ALWAYS get flavored popcorn, and it is the BEST. We love the garlic and parmesan, blue Raspberry, spicy dill pickle.. but, they're ALL amazing. The Nut Shoppe is located inside the North ... Gate Center, which isn't far from St Albert and SO WORTH the drive in. We pretty much make this a bi weekly tradition. This popcorn lasts for up to 5 days, tried and true, but usually never lasts that long for us. Movie marathon? Let the Nut Shoppe handle your snacks. I live in the southside and never visited Northgate. For medical appointment, we just happened to be there and my daughter found the icecream. The gentleman was super kind and friendly. Absolutely the best coffee at Northgate Centre. The gentleman who works there is the kindest person. I went in there with two inches of frozen coffee in the bottom of my cup and he thawed it out, washed my cup and refilled it for me all while chatting. I have known the owner and his wife for years. They are friendly and always have a warm smile when they see me and my kids. Great little place for snacks, a quick bottle of pop or even some ice cream. He has many selections of candies, chocolates, ice cream ... and other snacks.
