Burrito Libre - Edmonton, Alberta

I recently visited the Burrito Libre University location for dinner with my husband, and our experience was extremely disappointing. The service we received was very poor. The server was cold and rude, appearing irritated as if our presence was an inconvenience to her. The portions were extremely small, much smaller than ... what I’ve received on previous visits. It felt like she was deliberately skimping on the portions. When we politely asked for a bit more, she curtly told us we would need to pay extra, even though I’ve regularly seen other staff members accommodate such requests without issue. I’ve always found the staff at this location to be friendly, but this experience was a stark contrast. The combination of poor service, small portions, and the overall unpleasant treatment has left me very disappointed. For the price we paid, the experience was not worth it. Not worth it. Ordered delivery for 2 large burritos. Proportions were off and food was bland. Hardly any meat/sauce and way too much rice and cabbage. Didn’t end up finishing it… Felt like I could’ve made a better burrito at home.

First and last time trying. My boyfriend and I got a regular burrito and even though it seemed fresh, there was pretty much no meat. Less than a teaspoon at best. Nothing is spread out, you’re either getting a mouthful of plain rice or a bunch of beans. Really disappointing ... :( Read more

Went here about 3/4 times now. Food is good. But tell me why they’re so stingy with servings. I got a large burrito bowl and it was only a scoop of rice and tiny scoop of chicken. I had to ask to get another scoop of rice. I opted for ... the large this time because the small, you don’t get much servings. went to this burrito place across UOA hospital to grab something to bite. Two Filipinas at the front. Sandra and Richie serve me well. they deserve a pay cheque raise for a great customer service. I will recommend Burrito Libre at 112 Street Edmonton.
