Friendly environment, food was great and delicious recommend if you are really hungry. I ordered the beef donair plate and was alot for the price 😋😋😋

I’m writing this in hopes that that the owner may see this and reopen. I am saddened that Donair Express was forced to close several months ago due to a lease dispute. This was the last great donair shop in Edmonton and the second to open after Charles Smart. The ... meat was premium cuts packed on the spit by hand rather than the cheaper pre-formed donair loaf that everyone else uses. His homemade sauces were the absolute best I’ve had. Customer service was amazing, and pricing was better than fair. I first tried Donair Express 30+ years ago and in that time, I tried and compared every donair shop I could find. I could not find it’s equal. After about 25 years I stopped trying. Since they’ve closed, I have not found another that I even like. I unfortunately never learned the name of the man behind these delectable donair delights, but if you read this please, please grace us once more with the best donairs this city has ever known!!! 10$ for a regular donair meat was very dry and hard definitely not how this place used to be no wounded why it’s empty how disappointing

This place is awesome! Over the past twenty years only once was I not impressed. It was not the food but an employee and that was about ten years ago. I guess that's a risk with employees. The owner is friendly and the food as always is worth my drive ... now that I no longer am in the area. I found myself driving there more often since covid started, it's important to support local. My favorite is the sauce, meat... well pretty much everything. Seeing as how they make everything fresh sometimes I wait but it is worth it. The only thing I would suggest changing is the fries, I order the onion rings instead. I don't usually eat onion rings but these are really good and I don't miss the fries 👍 Read more

My first time trying a Donair today, was very good. The owners were so nice and pleasant made my friends and I feel at home upon entering. They have been serving delicious Donair for over thirty years I found out after talking to them. The quality really does speak for ... itself once you taste it. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the price, it does seem rather pricey and on the higher end compared to other places. Read more
