Chef Donair - Edmonton, Alberta

Ordered from a 1/2 - Block away, the Box of Donair, got Donair meat with garlic sauce and salad. Excellent with just the right level of spiciness. Will frequent again!

The food is good. Well seasoned and serving portion matches the price. Not the cheapest donair place in the city definitely but it's acceptable. The 2 guys are friendly. If there's anything I could comment on, is the place - it could use some renovation work.

First impressions and all, would not return. Paid for a jumbo, got a super, onion rings were cooling in the basket before he even thought about starting to make my Donair. By the time I got home, they were cold and oddly enough over cooked so barely edible. Joked about ... an ingredient I asked to be removed, talked with a customer the entire time. I don't think he's able to make orders in a timely manner when he is distracted. Considering there was only one order ahead of me, it took abnormally long to make a simple order. Even my wife who was waiting for me in the vehicle asked what took so long. Honestly, the person behind the counter isn't made for this, lacks basic line cook knowledge, strongly recommended training or perhaps a career change. They truly live up to their name. One of the best donairs for sure. The taste of their meat was unique and delicious. Look at this superb donair salad dish. Thank you for the amazing quality.

Have been looking for a place in Edmonton for good shawarmas and this is definitely the one.. Bought a jumbo chicken shawarma combo, it was fresh, delicious and very satisfying. The two guys at the counter were polite and friendly. It was quite busy at the time but they stayed ... on top of it. Decided to dine in, very clean and well maintained.
