I’ve dined at quite a few places within Edmonton, and I must say Red Ox Inn did not disappoint! Flavours that stimulates your taste buds, combinations of textures and from silky smooth to crispy crunch. I must say I really enjoyed the ambience this restaurant offered as well as the ... thought and passion the chef and his colleagues put into this menu. Along with a gorgeous wine selection. Very well executed food. Probably one of the best, if not the best beef tartare I've had in town. Meat and fish were both cooked to perfection, and everything was plated very nicely. The entire menu looks and tastes delicious, and, impressively, all of the entrees boast a highly unique flavor identity- each of the dishes I sampled evoqued different feelings and tastes. Been here a few times and an amazing experience each time. The owner Frank was extremely accomodating with our dinner party and offered a perfect dinning experience. One of the best and most consistent restaurants in the city. They modernize their menu to keep current, and the experience is always excellent. Happy to also see local craft beer make the list! This place is an Edmonton gem.
