Ever had a meal so good you knew it was the best of the trip before the trip was even over? I just had lunch at Bistro Praha and that's the feeling I have. I ordered the traditional Schnitzel and it was literally the best I've ever had (I'm nearly ... 70). The house salad was much better than one would expect a complimentary salad to be. I couldn't resist trying the soup Dejour, Cream of Pickle. I'd never heard of it before, it was wonderful. I won't be able to order Schnitzel ever again. I had no idea what a good Schnitzel was, but I live 900 miles away. So, of course, with everything being so good, I ordered dessert. I think it was called 'Austrian' Apple Strudel. It was definitely apple strudel though and yes, it was delicious. The server was Rhonda and her knowledge of Czech cuisine is obvious. She made the whole lunch experience wonderful. Read more
