The lady that served me was pretty rude and condescending. She almost made you feel like you're nothing but a nuisance asking her questions about items on her menu. Save yourself the trouble and stop at the Sobeys close by and buy yourself some frozen perogies. They taste way better.

Was a quick stop in for lunch and what a great surprise. The daily special was perfect! The staff was friendly, the food was a good home cooked Ukrainian meal, the atmosphere was a bit dated but made you feel like you were in Ukraine. First time here, there were quite a few of us and they had enough for all, food was hot and fresh. The perogies were good on the smaller size. One piece of kubasa as a side was small and $3.75, onions were $1.00 extra, very surprised at this one, they ... were in a paper container the same as ketchup comes in at a fast food restaurant. Lovely Ukrainian food. I enjoyed the 6p platter with meat balls, the sauerkraut soup was a great addition to all the dishes. Would skip the Borscht next time as it was bland. Thought it was odd that all the dishes are served dry; (tomatoe sauce , sour cream, any toppings had to ... be purchased separately... So don't forget to add those! ) Otherwise great meal served hot.
