We were visiting Edmonton & just finished supper when we wandered into Snowy Dessert for a treat. We weren’t sure what to expect taste-wise when we ordered the Watermelon Bingsu to share, but we certainly weren’t disappointed. The top had watermelon balls drizzled in syrup, followed by a sweet shaved iced & ... then those two layers repeated throughout the watermelon. Both of us remarked how perfect this treat would be on a hot summer day! Shaved ice AND watermelon? A refreshing combo. It was quite pricey for a dessert (about $19 for the watermelon binsu in the size we ordered) but considering the size (it’s in a hallowed out watermelon!!!), it being a shareable treat & the fun experience I would say it was completely worth it! We will be back to try other flavours next time we visit. Read more
