Reviews for CRUM Coffee Bar in Edmonton, Alberta
Excellent strong coffee. Drip coffee only available in the morning, americanos after that, so show up early. Also delicious treats I just wish I got to try some of their fancy donuts.
The best salted caramel mocha I’ve ever had, so decadent and rich! And the turkey sandwich just gives a cozy lunch vibe. The sisters, parents and staff are always so lovely. I’ve met some cool people who are also enjoying their coffee, atmosphere is great with local goods and art. I ... think the coffee bar concept is cool but I do hope the seating can be improved as it’s currently only bar stools. I’m not able to sit comfortably or safely with my newborn or bring friends/family to try due to the accessibility, so it’s always takeout for me. It would be the best cafe in the city if this changes!! Thanks everyone :) Read more

We stopped by to give this coffee shop a try. It’s more expensive than most. The product is top notch though. Really our only complaint is the atmosphere. It seems the owners are more concerned with displaying and selling their merchandise then actually providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for ... their customers to relax in. Example: purses, and hair scrunchies & shirts… for sale in a coffee shop. Interesting. A lot of the floor space seemed to be occupied with their merchandise. There were only stools available along the windows. No tables. No chairs. Just uncomfortable stools. We observed a group of 4 elderly people walk in and walk right out because there were only stools available for seating. I don’t think they’ll be back. One of them mentioned this out loud. Lost sales. These owners seem to be confused whether they’re a coffee shop or gift shop. It’s regrettable because their coffee and desserts are really good. There’s plenty of room to put in some tables and comfy chairs but their merch displays are taking up the space for that. It’s disappointing. Read more
After hearing countless positive reviews, I decided to visit this cafe for a coffee date with my husband. Right from the entrance, the relaxed ambience enveloped us. The artistic décor, featuring vibrant paintings and a charming chalk-scribble wall, created a casual yet pretty atmosphere that made the cafe feel cozy ... and inviting. Eager to try their famous baked goods, we ordered the much-acclaimed Pistachio Croissant and a Carrot Muffin with Cashew Cream Cheese. The Carrot Muffin was a delightful surprise – it struck a perfect balance of flavors. The sweetness was just right, with a subtle hint of cinnamon that added a lovely depth. It was a treat I would definitely return for. However, the Pistachio Croissant was a letdown. Despite its high recommendations, it turned out to be chewy and lacked freshness. Judging by its reputation, I expected a light and flaky delicacy, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. For drinks, we opted for a Cold Mocha and a London Fog. A bit to our disappointment, the cafe doesn’t offer drink customization. When I requested extra milk, I was told it wasn’t possible. This was a peculiar and somewhat restrictive policy, detracting from the overall experience.
