Way too many families with their screaming children for starting, washroom was just packed. So difficult to find washrooms it seemed like they only had the one! I've only been to the zoo two times in my adult life, and regret both times. The best thing about this Cafe is you don't need to pay the zoo admission to visit it. I bought breakfast here before my zoo visit and I'll definitely be going back. I had the veggie breakfast wrap with a coffee and my friend had a sausage roll. Great food ... and coffee at a very reasonable price. Read more

Terrible Experience! Went there with my kids and the three of us got wraps for lunch. $8.95 for a chicken Thai peanut wrap. The entire thing was vermicelli with 3 tiny pieces of chicken (the size of your nail). one inch long thin strip of red pepper, and three tiny ... pieces of red onion in the entire wrap. Incredible rip off. The service was terrible. The two female servers seemed clueless, and to top off our experience, my daughter found a hair in her wrap. We ended up throwing them out. I never write reviews for anything, but this was so bad I had to make the effort to warn others. Read more

Great looking architecture (fantastic atmosphere), friendly service, and great coffee. Had the amaretto latte this morning and it was fantastic. Definitely a great place to check out if you're going to the zoo, Laurier park, or to the off-leash areas and want a coffee to carry with you!

I ordered two simple drinks ten minutes ago. I'm waiting. I feel like I'll be waiting for a long time. The people in front of me have been waiting for a while too. The guy operating the espresso machine is dressed in a smooth, hip fashion that says "I don't ... know how to use this machine, but by God I'll look good doing it." I wish I hadn't ordered anything, so that I could enjoy the zoo. But I can't. I'm still waiting for my latte. Read more
