I love coming here for coffee and a sweet treat. I like their varieties in drip coffee. I haven't any espresso based drinks so I cannot speak to that. Their scones are big and delicious. The Daily Grind is my go-to spot for a great drink on campus! Their seasonal drink specials are so fun to try, and I love that the staff are always super friendly and even remember my usual order. Sometimes I ask them for recommendations if I'm feeling up for something new ... that day, and I love that they take the time to ask about my preferences to find something that fits. I love being able to get my coffee at Daily Grind in SUB. I don't always buy coffee and mostly just brew it myself in the morning, but on the days I wake up later or just want a treat, this is my go to. I really like their Mochaccino if ... I'm getting a treat, but their standard medium roast is pretty good too. They usually also have a sessional drink like a pumpkin spice latte in the fall. Also the staff are super friendly and accommodating and are very quick with the orders. I also appreciate knowing that their coffee is Free Trade and that I'm supporting the Students Union as well! I bought my girlfriend the Be My Valentine latte from the Daily Grind, and she was very happy with it. The flavour was sweet, and the design of the drink was very cute. It was like valentine’s day in a cup.
